La econom\u00eda solidaria se basa en nuestros valores compartidos: la cooperaci\u00f3n, la democracia, la justicia social y racial, la sostenibilidad ambiental y el mutualismo. La interdependencia y el respeto son un enfoque central.<\/p><p>Las econom\u00edas solidarias son <i>transformativas <\/i>distribuyen el poder y recursos a las personas m\u00e1s afectadas por la supremac\u00eda blanca, el colonialismo de asentamiento, el patriarcado, el capacitismo y el capitalismo \u2014 y satisfacen una necesidad material inmediata para una comunidad. No son simb\u00f3licas, aportan de manera real la vivienda, comida, educaci\u00f3n, cultura y otras necesidades que los humanos necesitan para prosperar.
